Picture Farm Film Festival is a non-profit, volunteer-run event dedicated to providing a platform for independent filmmakers in our community. Founded in 2014 with deep roots in the NYC commercial production industry, we are uniquely positioned to elevate the voices of artists and usher them along the path to commercial success. For too long, this industry has been dominated by those with income and connections; Picture Farm Film Festival aims to level this playing field through our festival showcase and subsequent mentorship program.
LOCATION
The Wythe Hotel has been a sponsor and the host of our event since 2017. Their screening room — with vintage velvet seats and a fully stocked bar — makes for an unforgettable setting that captures the unique creative spirit of our endeavor.

PROGRAMMING
Our curation brings together amateur, emerging and established filmmakers. We invite guest moderators to lead engaging Q&A’s to discuss the themes and relevancy of the works presented, as well as the challenges that individual filmmakers may have faced while getting their projects off the ground.
By the end of the festival, our filmmakers end up cross pollinating their passions, influences and ideas with connections that last well beyond the festival.
Bottom line: diverse filmmakers make diverse films and we are committed to showing their work no matter what stage they are at in their career.
